Ingredients :


+Chicken coating:

°3-4 boneless chicken breasts

°salt + pepper

°1 cup cornstarch

°2 scrambled eggs

°1/4 cup canola oil

°Sweet and sour sauce:

°3/4 cup sugar

°4 tablespoons ketchup

°1/2 cup distilled white vinegar

°1 tablespoon soy sauce

°1 teaspoon garlic salt


Directions:


Begin by preheating the oven to 325°F. Rinse the chicken breasts and cut them into cubes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Coat the chicken in cornstarch before dipping it in the egg. In a large frying pan, heat 14 cup oil and cook chicken until brown but not fully cooked. Place the chicken in a 9x13 baking dish that has been greased. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all of the sweet and sour sauce ingredients, then pour evenly over the chicken. Bake the chicken for an hour, turning it every 15 minutes.
