*Components:


2 lbs minced meat


1 medium chopped onion


3 minced garlic cloves



°1 tbsp olive oil


2 15-oz. cans tomato sauce


1 quart (15 ounces) water


1 12 oz. tomato paste


1 teaspoon fresh thyme


°1 tablespoon basil


16 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese


°16 oz cream cheese, small curd (or ricotta cheese)


14 cup parmesan cheese, grated


°Salt and pepper to taste


1 package (16 oz.) lasagna noodles


Methods : 

Heat oven 350 degrees F .


In  skillet, adding olive oil, chop onions & garlic. Frying onions To soft & translucent.


Add minced meat and cook until completely brown, and the fat is drained. Return to the pan.


Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, thyme, basil, salt and pepper.


Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat, cover and cook for about 15-20 minutes.


Cook the pasta according to package instructions, rinse and set aside (I usually add 1 teaspoon of oil to the water so the pasta doesn't stick together).


Place a small amount of the meat mixture on the bottom of the dish in a 14" x 11" x 2" baking dish, or two smaller baking dishes. spread around.

Place the lasagna noodles on top (about 5-6, they will overlap each other).

Next, place half of the cheese on top of the pasta and distribute it evenly.

Place the meat mixture on top of the cottage cheese.

Garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired.

After that, add? of mozzarella cheese.

Rep with the remaining macaroni, cottage cheese, meat mixture, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.

The final layer is pasta topped with the remaining meat mixture and mozzarella cheese.

Cook for about an hour, covered with tin foil.

Salad and garlic bread are included.
